Psychic Reading Use vs. Psychic Reading Abuse and Dependency
Like any substance or behavior, psychic readings can be used responsibly, or they can be abused. When psychic readings are abused, you are misusing psychic readings in your life. You may also become dependent. Let's take a look at what this means.
Someone who is dependent on psychic readings needs them to get through the day. You may also have lost control over how often you get readings and with how many readers, and you cannot stop yourself from going on "psychic binges" no matter how you try.
If you are dependent, you may continue getting readings despite financial problems your habit may be causing you. You may also spend a large amount of time thinking about when you will get your next reading and with who, or when you can no longer make decisions for yourself or accurately decide how to respond to a situation in your life.
If you need a psychic's viewpoint before interacting with a romantic interest, then you have likely become dependent.
If you are a "psychic reading abuser" then the primary indicator is that your readings are attached to emotions, such as getting a reading to lessen anxiety or to cope with feelings of depression and hopelessness surrounding a situation. Maybe nothing has changed, and you want a second or third opinion, or to check in for validation or reassurance.
If you are abusing readings, you can take steps to stop you from becoming entirely dependent. The key is finding something else that will distract you from your feelings of anxiety, worry, depressing or hopelessness and build confidence, and/or get you more in touch with your individual intuition.
It may sound cliche, but examples include finding an exercise that you enjoy, reading if you like to read, watching a movie, or -- participating in Psychic Callers Anonymous group meeting and/or calling a sponsor or someone from the phone list.
